Coriander Leaf Grill

Coriander Leaf Grill

Came here for a Burpple eatup and we got to try the three different set menus that are in Burpple Beyond.

First Course

Coriander Leaf Grill

This is the salt and pepper squid, the first course for Set B. The squid was crispy and flavoured nicely with salt and pepper. This wasn’t too oily as well.

Coriander Leaf Grill

This is watermelon, mint, promegranate with Turkish cheese, the first course for sets A and C. It was unique and refreshing with the cheese adding a special flavour to this.

Do note that these first courses aren’t the actual serving sizes. The serving sizes here were just for the eatup.

Second Course

Coriander+Leaf+Grill

This is paneer shashlik with harissa sauce, the second course of Set C. Paneer is a type of fresh cheese commonly found in India and Coriander Leaf Grill serves it with Harissa sauce, a Tunisian hot sauce. It was firm in texture and the harissa sauce gave it a spicy kick too.

Coriander Leaf Grill

The falafel, the second course for Sets A and B, was crispy on the outside. They come with spiced tahini yogurt for a tangy flavour too.

Main Course

Coriander Leaf Grill

The falafel burger is the main course of Set C and it’s like the second course of the other two sets sandwiched between buns. What I liked was the extra chilli that added the spicy kick to the burger.

Coriander Leaf Grill

The charcoal grill red snapper fillet from Set B was so good that it was most of our favourite main. The fish was fresh and went well with the green chilli pesto too. We enjoyed it a lot indeed.

Coriander Leaf Grill

The steak with wakame butter is the main course for Set A. The meat was tender and the wakame butter complemented the meat well. It was also pretty good but I didn’t think it stood out much.

Dessert course

Coriander Leaf Grill

It came to dessert which I was looking forward to but was most disappointed about. The dessert for set B was avocado ice cream with gula melaka sago. Sounded so promising but it was weird. The sago was hard and the avocado ice cream didn’t really taste like avocado.

Coriander Leaf Grill

The Alphonso mango sorbet, the dessert for sets A and C, also sounded good but it was overly sweet so I didn’t like it that much either.

Each set meal is $60++ but you can get it at one for one with Burpple Beyond. I enjoyed my meal here and the service is good too.

Thank you Burpple for the invite and Coriander Leaf Grill for having us!
