8. The Pantree

pantree pancake

The Pantree gives min jiang kuehs (peanut pancakes) a modern twist by introducing many flavours, both sweet and savoury. They also have the classic flavours such as peanut and corn too.

pantree pancake luncheon meat egg cheese

I had started out with a savoury pancake and got the luncheon meat, egg and cheese flavour. It was made on the spot and I really enjoyed it. The sides were really crispy and they were very generous with the ingredients.

pantree pancake cookie butter speculoos

Then I had the cookie butter (speculoos) flavoured one next. Because I had my pancakes there, they made sure I had finished my first pancake before giving me the next one nice and fresh. So this was really hot and crispy too! I really liked how the cookie butter complemented the pancake as well. I wanted more after this but I was full so I'll definitely come back again in the future!

The Pantree
Address: 5 Straits View #B2-24 Marina One The Heart, Singapore (018935)
Opening hours: Mondays and Fridays 8am-5.30pm, Tuesdays to Thursdays 8am-8pm

That's the end of my list for now, I'll update this post when I've had more good pancakes. Enjoy eating!
