Dog Cafes in Bangkok
I'm the kind of person who loves visiting dog cafes because I love dogs but can't keep them (at the moment) so here's a list of dog cafes I've visited in Bangkok!
House of Paws (HOPs) Dog Cafe
This was my main reason for visiting this cafe. This is Jacob, an old English sheepdog!
They have a mixture of big and small dogs here. The dogs are on a schedule of some sort so if you like a specific one, it's best to call ahead to ask!
We came twice in a trip because my friend really wanted to see Wiley the Samoyed!
The staff here are all very friendly and helpful too! When they help you to take a photo, they ensure the dog is sitting down and they try to get its attention so it looks into the camera. Just that the corgi photobombed us in this one haha.
House of Paws (HOPs) Dog Cafe
Address: 458 Chulalongkorn 64, Bangkok, Thailand (Located in Siam Square)
Opening hours: 11am-9pm on Tuesdays to Fridays, 10am-9pm on Saturdays and Sundays, Closed on Mondays
Dog in Town Cafe
Dog in Town Cafe is located a 15-20 minute walk away from Ekkamai BTS. You can take a taxi or motorbike taxi in from the main road too!
The cafe is rather small for a dog cafe so the dogs here tend to just laze around and lie down under the tables.
Or they lie down on customers' seats. This is Chit Lom on my seat. The dogs here are named after BTS stations but we suspect they are not their real names because they don't respond to them haha.
There is a minimum order of 1 order per person here. I had ordered one of their signature drinks which is ovaltine powder on milk. It sounds simple but it's quite a novel idea to me and I liked it!
They have nine dogs in this cafe and this Samoyed is called Asoke!
The dogs were all sleepy at the same time and all had their nap times!
After getting recharged, the dogs will get to play out in the garden!
And get a refreshing drink as well!
The dogs are all then sprayed with a nice smelling liquid to clean them up before letting them go back in again! I think this is a cafe that is enjoyable if you purely want to play with dogs.
If your main purpose is to take pictures with them, it'll be better to either come on a weekday at a less crowded timing! Due to the lack of space in this cafe, it can be quite difficult to take pictures with the dogs and it can be difficult to get them to be still while in the garden too.
Dog In Town Cafe
Address: 16/1 Ekkamai6 Sukhumvit road Khlong tan nuea Wattana, Bangkok, Thailand
Opening hours: 11am-8pm on Sundays-Thursdays, 11am-9pm on Fridays-Saturdays
Big Dog Cafe
The cafe is now located very near Thailand Cultural Centre MRT station and it's very easy to find! They have 5 slots per day: 9.30am to 11.30am, 12pm to 2pm, 2.30pm to 4.30pm, 5pm to 7pm and 7.30pm to 9.30pm
The entrance fee to play with the dogs is 199 baht and it doesn't include any food and drinks so you can order them separately. They provide a list of dogs to introduce you to each dog, its breed and its name too!
They have multiple time slots because the dogs come out in different batches to the play area! This Chow Chow is called Chowder, it's a popular dog here!
Apart from the fact that most of their dogs are big (and hence the cafe name), their dogs come from many different countries too! This is Casper the Afghan Hound which comes from Afghanistan.
They have three Alaskan Malamutes and they come out at different times. This is Choco.
This cafe allows you to meet dogs of less common breeds as well. This is Butter, a Komondor (also known as a Hungarian sheepdog). It's really long and fluffy! The staff will tell you their names, breeds and where they come from whenever new dogs come out.

TrueLove at Neverland
An entrance ticket costs 350 baht. They only accept visits on a first-come-first-serve basis with only 2 sessions daily at 12.30pm and 3.30pm. Please take note that you need to arrive 30 minutes before the session starts!
Each entrance ticket includes a drink and a slice of cake!
The main dog population consists of huskies and it can be quite chaotic so they are separated in different sections of the play area.
After the heat gets to them, the huskies will collapse in the area near the fans for a break and sometimes humans collapse and sit there with them too haha
There's also a Shih Tzu mixed Spitz called Momo
They have two old english sheepdogs that are really goofy and cute too!
This cafe is quite well staffed and has a big space so the staff can help you take pictures with the dogs leaning on you too!
